As of 11:45 pm EST on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021, the Conveners of Imams have received the following confirmed sighting reports within the continental United States of America.

• Sighting in Knoxville Tennessee at 9:08 EST with the following photo by Obaid Rahman, board member of Celebrate Mercy, shared by Imam Kashif Abdul-Karim of MICGH of Hartford CT.

• Sighting in Atlanta, confirmed by Imam Rashad Abdul-Rahmaan of the Atlanta Masjid.

• Sighting in Philadelphia by Khalil Abdullahi at 9:14pm, confirmed by Imam Idris Abdul-Zahir, resident Imam of Masjidullah in Philadelphia PA.

Therefore, the Conveners of Imams associated with the Community of Imam W. Deen Mohammed announce that we completed 29 days of fasting and will celebrate Eid ul-Fitr on Thursday, May 13th.

​

The Conveners of Imams and the Community of Imam W. Deen Mohammed pray that Muslims around the world have a wonderful and blessed Eid, no matter which day they are having their celebration.
