2018 Eid ul-Adha Announcement

As-Salaamu-Alaikum!

The Section Conveners of Imams associated with the Community of Imam W. Deen Mohammed recognize Eidul-Adha to be Tuesday, August 21, 2018 (the Day of Arafat this year is Monday, August 20th, with the Eid celebration occurring the following day).
Allah tells us in Surah 22:30 that whoever honors the sacred rituals (of the Hajj), that is best for them and is nearness to his Guardian, Evolver, Cherisher and Sustainer. In Ayat 32 of that same Surah, Allah tells us that those who honor or magnify the things or symbols of Allah surely it is from sincere G-d consciousness in your hearts. Additionally, Surah 2:198 tells us that when the pilgrims come down from Arafat, they should celebrate the praises of Allah.
Hence, we pray that Allah blesses all Muslims in the world with a wonderful Eidul-Adha!!!
