Moon Sighting and Eid ul-Fitr Confirmation

 

As-Salaamu-Alaikum!

As of 12:45am EST Sunday, June 25th, 2017, the Conveners of Imams have not received any reports of confirmed sightings within the continental United States of America.

​

As a result, the Conveners of Imams associated with the Community of Imam W. Deen Mohammed announce that we will fast Sunday June 25th, a full 30 days, and celebrate Monday June 26th as the day of Eid ul-Fitr.

​

The Conveners of Imams and the Community of Imam W. Deen Mohammed pray that Muslims around the world have a wonderful and blessed Eid, no matter which day they are having their celebration.
